As the demand for dementia care in the assisted living/residential setting increases, so does the need for better staff training. Featuring recognized dementia care experts, this video covers the most common dementia care questions in clear, understandable terms. Key topics addressed include:

The average assisted living resident needs assistance with at least two activities of daily living (ADLs). General Workplace Safety
As part of your Illness and Injury Prevention Plan, all employers are required to distribute to all staff a written copy of your facility specific safety rules. You must keep an acknowledgement, signed and dated by the employee, that he/she has received the safety rules. Your rules must be specific to your facility operations.
